Ansel loves his cousin! Quick story. . . he got so excited to see her at church Sunday. We were holding him and he leaned down to give her a huge hug! While we were all "ah"ing about how cute it was, he sneakily grabbed the little bag of cookies out of her hand and popped right back up! So, he loves his cousins, but he loves cookies too!

Bob the Builder

Ansel's new obsession...(and I do mean obsession) is Bob the Builder. We got him a little video way back at Christmas time and he's never really cared for it.. until this past month. Now he can't get enough of it. I think he says "bob" more than mom or dad. (Well, maybe not "dad"....about an hour before it's time for Cody to get home, he talks about daddy non-stop!) Anyway, he gets a glimpse of big building vehicles, or any bob merchandise, and goes on and on about "Bob!" Very cute.. but I'm learning how old some kids movies can get!!! Here's a couple of pictures of him hard at work helping daddy "build" a bookcase.

Bouncing Baby Boy

Just a little clip of some of Ansel's dancing! This was actually about a month ago.. but anytime he hears music he loves to dance!

First steps!!!

We haven't gotten much of a video yet.. but Ansel started walking this evening!!! He'll do about six or seven steps going between Cody and I! (He just started around five or so this evening and has done quite a bit in just the past couple of hours! It was a very exciting day! Here's a little video of it with only a couple of steps... (as usual.. he stopped doing it when being filmed!!) Oh, and sorry I filmed it the wrong way.. I don't know how to rotate videos!

We moved!

Sorry for the delayed posts.. but we finally moved! We haven't hooked up internet yet... so I've been a little slow to add anything new. Here's a glimpse of Ansel's room..

Ansel likes eating cereal with milk now... sometimes that involves a spoon too!

Here's Ansel in his rocking chair... it was actually mine when I was his age!! (I'll have to dig out the pictures sometime) He likes sitting on that middle slat .. and will rock away like that.. (Yes, he has knocked it over on himself several times already.. mostly when he's rocking backwards though.)

This is how I found Ansel the other day... he found my oil pastels and drew himself a goatee.. trying to grow up too fast!

Apparently they don't taste too good though.

Ansel got invited to the Children's Miracle Network celebration....

He got weighed Monday.. 19 lbs exactly (so only one ounce the whole month... I was hoping for a little more than that!) Oh well... atleast he's eating well!
